Melee posts three new songs

Mêlée has posted three new songs from their major label debut, Devils and Angels. The band will release the album on April 03, 2007. It was produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Less than Jake) and follows their 2004 Hopeless/Subcity full length, Everyday Behavior.

I'm not defending this band, as I don't like them and haven't listened to the songs, but the reason this is on here is because this band was on Hopeless Records before they signed to a major, and therefore of relative interest to a large enough portion of this site's readers to justify its placement here.

Aren't we fogetting that to be punk is not always a look or a sound but to do something different and pioneer your own path. to Me, Melee is more punk than some of these so called punk bands because they do what tthey do best and don't give a rats ass about what punk people think should and shouldn't be. They started from the bottom like everyone else and have the talent to risse above the underground. I don't see why any band should limit themselves to please a small group so they can fit in to certain standards.

We get one life to choose what makes us happy, don't be a jerk :)

I still had no idea that this band was big enough to be signed to a major. I have their Against the Tide EP and I think it's pretty good, but nothing on Everyday Behavior interested me at all.
