Former Emery bassist joins the Widow Jenkins

After leaving Emery last September, bassist Joel "Chopper" Green has resurfaced in recently reunited act the Widow Jenkins.

The band, which also includes Chris "Swiss" Swinney formerly of both Brazil (Immortal Records) and Underminded (ex-Kung Fu Records), was formed in 2003.

The band is working on new material for a release soon.

I will agree, they do sound like generic late-80's/early 90's side-scrolling video game bad guy names, like from Double Dragon or Final Fight.

i have to say that emery are oneo f the nicest bands ever, but not the kind of music i like but still Joel is a really good kid hopefully he gets what he wants out of this band.

I think they are pretty cool...they need better production, but they are ok. Could be great with the right producer and label behind them. I wasnt a fan of Emery.
