Hello, all. We are sad to announce we must cancel the current min-tour we had scheduled with our friends in Fireworks. Two nights ago, just an hour outside of Spokane, Washington, our van and trailer hit a patch of black ice coming off a mountain pass on Interstate 90 East. The vehicle fish tailed, sending us head on into the center divide guard rail; an impact which then spun us several times in the opposite direction before Dave was able to regain control of situation and bring us slowly and safely to a hault on the shoulder of the road. No one in SYG was injured in the accident. We are currently held up in Kellogg, Idaho waiting for framework to be done on our van, and we will be renting a separate vehicle on Sunday which will take us to New York City, where we will begin the Anti-Flag "War Sucks..." Tour on March 8th at Irving Plaza. We are also scheduled to play a warm up show on March 7th in Brandford, CT at the Puppet House Theatre with Big D and the Kids Table. The band released Mutiny! last year through Eulogy.

Dude, Kellogg is a weird fucking town. The whole damn town is run by this dude Dave Smith, who owns like the biggest car dealership in the country. It's bizarre. And I almost drove home to Spokane to go see this show, but it was snowing, and it's like 80 miles, and I said fuck it.

i read an interview where these guys talked about staying true to yourself and avoiding major record labels, etc. and that tied into thier name (set your goals) which was taken from a CIV album...who sold off the rights to one of their songs to a car company. hahaha.

First Much the Same, then Set Your Goals? Fucking eastern Washington.

Haha. This is almost as funny as when they hit a deer in Nebraska and fucked up their van. |
