Everyone seems to forget that story..
In the 80's Bad Brains played in TX and ended up staying at members of The Big Boys house.
Upon finding out that singer Randy was openly gay they launched into a bullshit rasta religious tirade and called him a 'bloodclot faggot' in his own home. They even stole from the guy..
But karma is a bitch and now HR is a raving lunatic that has to be medicated, he pretty much ruined the bands new record with his HORRIBLE vocals and lyrics. The band is forced to deal with him cause no one cares about the Brains without HR. What goes around, comes around. Tough shit guys.. you get what you give. Great band, but that doesn't excuse them from acting like assholes.

Yes. I was like 19 or 20. I remember talking to a friend in the crowd before they went on, who was holding a cup of soda. One second the lights were on - the next second the lights go out, the first song starts, a TOTAL fucking frenzy ensues!, and I see a cup of soda go flying up in the air. The next time I saw my friend was an hour later when the show was over.

It seems fairly balanced...not one style taking over the other.

I like the new Bad Brains CD, but the vocals dont hit it off with me. HR has changed so damn much. He just stands there looking like he is on meds! I like how he was in the past with all that energy that would make you go crazy when they played. Its just kind of sad seeing the band play wiht all there heart and HR just standing there using a mic stand and not even moving.
