Media: Mike Park: “Tobi Vail Is My Favorite Member of Bikini Kill”

Mike Park has posted a new song for our general enjoyment. The song was recorded in Los Angeles and is the first of a series of songs to be released every week this month.

The track is titled "Tobi Vail Is My Favorite Member of Bikini Kill" and can be found his MySpace page.

Mr. Park is planning to head to Europe early next year with his buddy Chris McCaughan, although all the dates and plans aren't worked out yet. He released North Hangook Falling in 2005.

Kathleen Hanna is actually one of the reasons I love Bikini Kill. She was doing something dangerous, something rebellious with BK and there are you, blindly hating her for it. Now I know you can't please everyone, but Bikini Kill was a hell of a band, Mr. Anonymous Fuckhead.

Also, how does she "look" like a fucking asshole?

This is an enjoyable song. Mike Park is quite an enjoyable cat. Really nice guy.

Mike Park is one of the coolest people I have ever met. The bands on his label have always kicked ass! So buttons!

Kathi Wilcox is my personal favorite member of bikini kill. Her bass playing and tone completely own on "P. Whipped", which is arguably one of the most kickass punk records ever, hand down.

Mike Park is a badass, by the way. It's nice when people/bands/labels under the umbrella of punk try using their music to change the world for the better, instead of concentrating on how high they can get their mohawk.
