James Hart (ex-Eighteen Visions) signs to Island

James Hart, former vocalist of Orange County hardcore/metal-turned-rock act Eighteen Visions has signed to Island Records.

James will begin pre-production this month and has two songs available on his myspace page.

Good for you, James. You should've considered checking in with Dan Keyes to see what great things Island is doing for True Love. Maybe you two can tour together and play to audiences of underpaid bar staffers and bored merch people.

It seems like Orange County is one huge mass of unoriginal garbage. Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, and Eighteen Visions all started out as metal'core' bands, then they went all radio friendly hard rock. I bet you Bleeding Through is the next one to do that.

i agree. they did have that ballad-y song on The Truth. give it time. hopefully, they will take 18V's influence completely and break-up soon
