Austin, Texas' Spoon will be going out on the road for a handful of dates this summer. The small, yellow robot enthusiasts will be truckin' out for some festivals and big theatre dates, including a three night run at the Fillmore Theatre in San Francisco. The band released the hard to pronounce Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga last year via Mege.

oh well, i guess i don't get it. either it's a reference to something that i'm not aware of, or it's just as pointless a joke as i think it is.

also, "Merge" records is incorrectly spelled. HOW ABOUT SOME FUCKING PROOFING ON THIS SITE!

punknews.org=slow news that isn't really worth posting in the first place...unclever jokes...poor proofing...getting slammed with comments from people that wouldn't have the gall to make the comment if they hadn't the security of the computer screen in front of them.

Ha. I like Spoon a lot and wish this tour would come to Toronto, but they are hardly a punk band.

I find "A series of sneaks" and "Kill the moonlight" anything but boring. Great rock records in my opinion. After that however, fuck em.

I agree, but also I really enjoy Gimme Fiction, but GaX5 is too hit and miss. Plus the title is terrible.

I think the title is awesome. It sounds like a Polysics song. Anyway, Spoon is ok. There is a time and place for them, though some people tend to think they are gods. They're nothing original, but can be groovy and fun.

Unless there is a different version out there I believe the lyric is "On the 13th of September . . " I remember that one because it's a buddy of mine's birthday. There is a March 30th also in the song.
