Tours: Have Heart / Verse /Shipwreck AD (Europe)

Shortly after their US tour together beginning this month, Have Heart, Verse and Shipwreck A.D. will be headed to Europe for a mixture of festival and club dates. Verse recently released their Bridge 9 debut, Aggression while Have Heart will be releasing their eagerly anticipated sophomore album for the label, Songs To Scream At The Sun, on July 08, 2008. Shipwreck AD released Abyss last year.

today is company golf day I went two years ago and read in the club house the whole time so I wasn't invited back. On the bright side I get to leave the office at 1, get my lunch paid for, no one else is here and I don't have to listen to golf talk.

I always feel very strange in the office on casual days with my shaved head and beard and band t-shirts and occasional hangover, I'm really glad no one ever asks about shirts or really talks to me. One day I wore my Generation X" Kiss Me Deadly" t-shirt and it got some major lulz from the older women in the office.

I have to refrain from wearing my homemade MIKE HAMMER, BITCHES! shirt on casual Fridays, as much as I would like to do otherwise. And I hate the lulz I get when I'm playing music when I'm alone in my office and people are like "you like punk AND jazz? WTF?"

Probably the same reason I like the blues. Dangerous fringe music that was eventually embraced and ruined by a bourgeois class with more money than taste. (See: Eric Clapton, Alternative Press, the standard crowd at a jazz club in a "nice" neighborhood.)

i wish my coworkers liked punkrock, exercise, and horror movies instead of homeownership, iphones, and golf. but at least they are super-nice dudes.

i like curry, but i don't really like shyamalan besides the first 2 times i saw the sixth sense (first time to watch the movie, second time to watch all the "lol bruce willis is actually a ghost" clues)

Once again, here be a SPOILER. You are not allowed to be a butthurt fanboy if you read this and this terrible movie is ruined for you as a result.

It's plants. Plants are pissed, and are fighting back by releasing neurotoxins. And here I was expecting it to be something even mildly interesting or at least not dumb, like the Rapture or the government killing people and blaming terrorists or wha'eva.
