I am the older brother who used to listen to Lagwagon. I kind of stopped paying attention after 'Let's Talk About Feelings'. Is this newer stuff even poppier, or are they back to worshiping Maiden and early Bad Religion again?

Its okay as the music will probably be just okay (unless they have a return to form). I'd rather look at this though than something like an Atreyu album cover.

This is probably going to be a great EP, but seriously, if anyone got paid more than $20 to design and layout that cover, Fat got ripped off.

I think the album art was meant to kind of look like a lame hot topic t shirt for a reason. To be ironic in a way. I never liked Lagwagon but if i did, I'd be that older brother.

While I hate hate hate Lagwagon, I've heard from fans that this is really really good Lagwagon tuneage. So, be stoked.

A) The cover art is absolute dog shit. Seriously. What, did it take them 5 minutes to whip that up on photoshop? Horrible.

B) I would like to hear some justifications why so many people think this is going to be good, rather than just making the claim.

I'm glad that other people love the older, maiden-y/southern rock stuff. I love the first three records (especially "Trashed"), but after that they just weren't the same. I still love them, though.

To answer the question posted above and respond to all the negativity in one fell swoop, I'm psyched for this because Resolve is one of the best albums of the decade and leaps and bounds better than anything else they've ever done. I've never seen a more honest, poetic, and all-encompassing picture of the grieving process, and the music matches the moods perfectly.

why are complaining about the cover art? half you (including myself) are going to illegally download it anyway.

This is great cover art because it matches perfectly the title and theme of the album. Yes its crass and simple and 'looks like a t-shirt' because thats how its meant to look..

I'm stoked people still have opinions about how the music looks. Even if i was the worlds biggest Offspring fan i would boycott the AWFUL looking new record because a jerk designed it.
