Tours: TV On the Radio

TV on the Radio have announced a two week tour set for Frosh week of this fall. The bnad will be hitting venues in the US as well as three shows in Canada. They released Return to Cookie Mountain [U.S.] in 2006.

haha i am balding, and i kind of am my own rock critic, and i do love this band.

but honestly Matt, theyre really good. you just have to listen to their albums one million times before you start to like it. a real grower-not-a-show-er.

i like the second album the most but i couldn't get into the second album until i went back and heard the first album. after that, to me it seemed that they were more like electro-barbershop music than just some kind of hipster pop. and it was good from then on.

i think you'd be surprised to know that I see Kyp at a good 80% of the shows that I go to. he's always around, supporting smaller bands, checking out punk bands. their music is so-so, like branden said, definitely a grower, but they are way cooler than the douchebag hipster thing.

These guys really died a death. Maybe it's because their record leaked and the genius record company PUSHED IT BACK SIX MONTHS so it was available online eight months before it was on shelves. So I bet they sold about five copies.

in other news has anyone heard the HiFi Handgrenades album? I picked it up yesterday and front to back it is one of the the most thoroughly enjoyable albums I've heard in awhile, not a bum track.
