Media: F**ked Up: "No Epiphany"

Fucked Up have released a new track from their upcoming debut for Matador. The record is titled The Chemistry Of Common Life and is due out October 07, 2008. The track itself will also be released as a 7-inch, and feature two alternate takes of the song. The song features backing vocals by Cassie Ramone, Frankie Rose and Kickball Katy.

It definitely doesn't sound like Epics In Minutes. I love the weird tangents this band goes off on.

me too they are doing something fun and interesting with hardcore punk not just revival rehashing. BUT a few joints here and there like Epics in Minutes would be nice although I haven't heard some of their more recent splits so maybe they do.

The song definitely leans towards Hidden World, and even goes beyond it. It doesn't really sound much like anything else they've done, aside from the vocals. This is probably the best song the band has ever done, and if the rest of the record sounds as good as this does it's going to be incredible.

This is the first I've heard from them, I don't know why I never got around to checking them out. This is pretty solid, I really can't wait to hear what else they do with this album. Those end vocal harmonies are sweet!
