Toronto's Constantines are headed south soon. The band will play their first apperance in Mexico at the Manifest Festival in Mexico City. They'll follow that with southern Ontario dates and a tour of the northeastern United States. The trek will feature apperances on select dates by Tim Fite and later Obits (Rick Froberg of Hot Snakes and Drive Like Jehu). Fite recently sampled the Cons on the song "Sing Along" from his new record Fair Ain't Fair.

The band will release a new 7" this fall for the song "Our Age" from Kensington Heights. It will feature a Winnipeg-recorded cover of Neil Young's "Fuckin' Up" as the b-side. A video for the song was recently unveiled, directed by George Vale and Broken Social Scene's Kevin Drew.

The Cons were also recently featured in a book of photography by Jeremy R Jansen. CON/LADY/08 features shots of the band's North American tour with Ladyhawk from this past summer.
