Naples, FL's Tom Gabel has posted a performance of the song "Anna is a Stool Pigeon" from his solo EP Heart Burns. The video was recorded by Jake Maymudes on October 26th, 2008 in Sacremento, CA at the Nimbus Dam.

Gabel's band, Against Me!, was recently in a bus accident and Gabel himself recently weighed in on the situation as well as discussed his new EP.

Hey DC Follks

Some questions.

The fiancee and I are thinking about heading to down to DC for the Inauguration ceremony.

Is there a hotel/neighborhood you would suggest staying in that's:

1. relatively cheap
2. relatively central to where the ceremony is and other interesting/fun/ historical parts of the city
3. we won't get mugged
4. we won't be rolling around in jizz-covered sheets

?

Also. Are the cops there assholes? I'm not a cop-hater, but I do worry about getting beaten for looking different.

Honestly, the Best Western in SE near the stadium isn't too bad, you aren't that far from a metro and you can see the Capitol from there, it's a bit of a hike, but it would probably be a little cheaper.

Go for the Holiday Inn on New Jersey ave. It's 2 blocks from the mall. It's a good area and pretty reasonable.

Unless the whole complain against this guy is completely fabricated, it sounds like he was in fact going to blow some shit up and had purchased the stuff to do it. Haha, nice. I just think there is not always some huge conspiracy. I think undercover agents are fucked up people, but I'm not always just going to take the side of some kid even though I always assume the government is over exaggerating. I want to read more into it, but did anyone else go to the website? Opinions?

I've been to the website. I read the article from Elle. I even got through 40 pages of "Anna's" testimony.
