In retrospect, I was being an asshole. I do apologize. I usually try not to open any hostilities here, but I failed today.

I did not intend any racist connotations on the term "wigger". It's a word that gets tossed around where I am jokingly. And not by racists. They would more likely refer to the group as "acting like n*****s". I guess I should watch what I say a little more closely.

Given that the comment to which I was responding suggested that a term I used made had a racist connotation, I was trying to avoid any unnecessary accusation of being racist.

Truth is, I hear the term a lot here. Many of my friends, to whom I am apparently not allowed to refer, have used it jokingly.

However, "i have black friends" is the main defense offered for being called out as making racists comments. I doubt you are racist, I was just stating that I agree that the term wigger is a sort of backhanded racist comment. My mom had black friends but when they weren't around she was one of the most racist people I know. Again, I'm not saying you're racist but the "I have black friends" defense is shallow and for the most part meaningless.

I just figured, someone would try to call me racist had I not stated so. Not necessarily you. It was not my main defense in any way. It was supposed to be a proactive measure to avoid an unnecessary confrontation on a different subject.

I guess I can see the point about wigger, but I guess it doesn't have the same impact on me. Again, for that, I sincerely apologize. I was just airing a grievance about this increasing focus on image above all else.

Fuckin A, one of the best songs ever. And I actually recorded it back in 01'. I did not however leak it on the internet but no one seemed to mind anyway. Awesome that show got that popular.
