Here are my answers, it is kinda long:

1. Do you think that the future of punk rock is bleak?
Yes

2. Why?
Assata Shakur once said, "No movement can survive unless it is constantly growing and changing with the times." I feel that punk rock is (or was) a movement and that movement is pretty much dead.

3. What is the single biggest threat to punk rock?
Stereotypes

4. How would you define punk rock?
This is stolen from Greg Gaffin's, "A Punk Manifesto," this is how I would define punk:

PUNK IS: the personal expression of uniqueness that comes from the experiences of growing up in touch with our human ability to reason and ask questions.

PUNK IS: a movement that serves to refute social attitudes that have been perpetuated through willful ignorance of human nature.

I like all the solo songs (preferably the acoustic versions of the first two songs on the ep) but I hope he doesn't make any of these into Against Me! songs on their next record. I'd rather have the whole thing be new and fresh.

Also Go Cowboys!!!! (in any other division they'd be in the playoffs for sure)

Anyone else notice how pissed the singing Tom Gabel in "Harsh Realms" looks when he misses a word in the last chorus? I kind of expected the guitar-playing Tom Gabel to get really pissed and walk out.
