Third Eye Blind, Vision of Disorder, Forgive Durden added to Bamboozle 2009

Additions to The Bamboozle 2009 continue to come in. The latest announcement features Third Eye Blind, Before Their Eyes, Swimming With Dolphins, Vision of Disorder and Forgive Durden.

They join recent additions like Rise Against, Get Up Kids, Bayside, New Found Glory, Fall Out Boy, Face to Face and many others. Still rumoured but not confirmed acts include NOFX, Maroon Five, Gorilla Biscuits, Britney Spears, and Sublime.

Endless Wire, or It's Hard?

I think Endless Wire was pretty decent... A few bad songs, but generally good. I hear Pete's been writing for another Who album. I imagine it will surpass Wire since they have a little more post reunion momentum going.

who has a boner for Third Eye Blind? Eh...i always liked them though, their first record at least. Their second was decent and everything i heard after that wasn't too great. Check out their debut self-titled record.

Other than being popular in the 90's, thrid eye blind have nothing musically in common with Dinosaur Jr., Pumpkins or Foo Fighters. TEB are a lot more poppy and less uh....'edgy' than the aforementioned acts.

Dear Punknews,

Stop saying that those bands are rumored but not confirmed. They're NOT PLAYING THE SHOW. They were listed in code on a website for the Hoodwink which happens the day BEFORE Bamboozle which last year featured bands playing under pseudonyms. This year they're having bands doing COVER SETS of other artists. New Found Glory is doing Green Day songs, Badfish is doing Sublime (duh), and so on and so forth. All you're doing is pissing off the guys with the beards by constantly saying that Britney Spears is appearing at this show.

I love how the chorus of "Semi-Charmed Life played in things like the "Pooh's Great Adventure" trailer, but the rest of the song was about sex and drugs (there was even a specific line about crystal meth).

I don't know about you guys but the vast majority of these concerts have really bad lineups. All Time Low? Seriously, there is some bad music out there. But in defense, any show that has GWAR, Third Eye Blind, No Doubt, and the Bloodhound Gang will make me happy.

No Doubt has put out some good music... tho Gwen Stefani sucks
I've heard GWAR is a crazy live show
Bloodhound Gang has a lot of stupid yet fun music.

O, that and Sublime is not playing. It'd be ultra-gay if the other 2 guys (who have names I'm sure) picked a new lead vocalist and played under their name... figured they'd have more respect then that. Maybe they ran outta cash
