TSOL begins recording, broadcasting live

SoCal punk legends T.S.O.L. have begun recording their forthcoming 30th anniversary album. The band recently announced that their next album will be a free release. Hurley will be the corporate force behind the band's venture into digital distribution and recording having let the band record in their studio. They'll also be streaming video of the recording process.

The record is tentatively titled Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of Free Downloads.

Yeah it totally sucks. I've haven't worked out consistantly in over a year and I've been getting fatter the whole time. It's all in the gut. I could totally be one of those old dudes that look skinny from behind, but they have a big ol gut in front.

I like that the dumbest Americans (aka people who have huge SUVs and trucks and don't need them) are the ones most likely 1) to blindly hate foreigners, and 2) be most susceptible to Arab influence on their expenses.

He played Wire's "12XU." Highlight of the night was Keith Morris coming out doing 3 songs, the last of which was "Nervous Breakdown." I don't even have to describe how epic that was.

Oh, and migrant workers in one of the richest states have some of the worst conditions in the hemisphere. I'm a refugee from this weird place and know all too well. Carl Hiaasen's 'Festival of Whores' exists only because of immigrants' labor, yet it denies them services, fair wages, fair migration and familial contact with very vocal hatred.

So if you drive down for this, stop off in Tally and take a big, steaming dump in front of the legislature. Punch a couple retirees. Toss detergent and piss in some fountains. It's the least you can do.
