Media: Austin Lucas: “Somebody Loves You” / California tour this weekend

Austin Lucas has posted an unmastered version of the title track from his upcoming LP Somebody Loves You. You can check it out at his MySpace page. The LP follows up the solo-styled At War With Freak Folk 10".

Lucas will be hitting up California this weekend, with shows in Oakland (4102 Lusk Street), Santa Clara (2118 Los Padres blvd) and Sacramento (Java Lounge). The details are below.

"Snow or Snow" off Bristle Ridge makes me tear up every time. Lucas has such a beautiful, powerful voice. I wish there were more like him.

check out Pigeon Father off of Austin's album The Common Cold. Some great stuff on that album. I'm excited to hear a new album and to see Austin, Josh Small, and Tim Barry in February.
