Methadones giving "Not Economically Viable" a makeover

Chicago, IL's The Methadones have posted a news update about their album Not Economically Viable. Says the band:

We've got some exciting things going on in Methadones land this spring. First up, our album Not Economically Viable is getting a total makeover. It's currently being re-mixed and re-mastered by our friend Matt Allison and will be released on vinyl by Underground Communique early this summer. It will be a cool double album on colored vinyl with a never before heard bonus track. It will also be available on Itunes.

The band also announced that they will be recording three to four songs for seven inch releases later this year. The band released This Won't Hurt... in 2007.

Ill at Ease is my favorite Methadones album. The vocals had a creepy, dead pan sound to it which isn't found on their later albums.

It's alright man, they woulda lost next week to the Cardinals anyway. Better to just rip the band aid off right now.

Besides, to the rest of the NFL fans, isn't it better to lose to the Eagles than the Cards? I mean....theres at least some understanding from the Eagles, but how embarrassing to the Cards.

Anywho, I think it'll be Cardinals v. Ravens at the Superbowl. At least I'm hoping.

I mean, I don't see why people who's teams aren't a part of the picture (Like Dallas, for example) wouldn't. It's got all the makings of a dramatic Super Bowl. Just like last years.

The "private"section is located under the tournament category. You might find it easier to just search for the game by it's ID #

Career Objective was great...This one not so much..I remember thinking "Not economically buyable" at first....Then thought it was OK after a while...But not even close to career objective

It'll be cool to get this on vinyl, but I don't think it really requires remixing (though a remastering for vinyl'd be nice). Such a great album. My favorite Methadones song is on This Won't Hurt, but NEV is my favorite album of theirs, for sure.

I enjoyed the album, not sure if I'd like the mixing changed.

Also, anyone knows what happened between the Methadones and Thick Records? And why this album is never in stock.
