Zao title, detail forthcoming release

Zao has posted more information regarding their new album.

The album, Awake?, was produced by Daniel and Tim Lambesis and features 11 tracks, 10 of which being brand new. Awake? is currently slated for release this spring.

i usually like most of the buzz bands on this site, or at least understand WHY people might like them, but that O Pioneers album just boggles the mind with how decidedly average it is.

didn't help that when i bought the fest version of the CD, the guy at the flea market (who i think might have been in the band) described it as being a cross between against me and hot water music, which is a fucking adventurous comparison to say the least.

I think the comparison to those bands is pretty unfounded, the only thing that was ever really the same was the raspy vocals and the past lack of a bass player.

I really like the record, I just wish Eric would cheer up and write more songs like Architect of Disney World.

I was at this university formal dinner thing yesterday because I'm on some council and I was shocked to find the bar was thinking of cutting me off, I hadn't puked, assaulted anyone and I still had all my clothes on. One bartender goes to my friend "do you know that man?" and when she confirmed he was like "should we cut him off? is he okay? he is acting a little strange". Maybe it is because I don't normally frequent places that cut people off but I was a little hurt.

My "friends" once got me to try and like Zao, then berated me for not thinking that time they dragged me to Atreyu, Underoath, God Forbid, and Darkest Hour was better than the time I saw the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Catch - 22, The Pietasters, and Voodoo Glowskulls.

I'm not sure which play you mean specifically but believe me it is not one sided. Literal "cheating" goes on every play and on both sides. It's not really cheating though, it's the flow of the game, it's aggression and gamesmanship. It's just how it is played.

So, I've been seeing a guy for 3 weeks (and I am an idiot about dating) and it's not 'official' yet or anything. I'm trying to play it cool even though I think it's going well. How long does it usually take for two people pretty into each other to make it official? I'm not too worried about it, but I want to know where I stand with him.
