Kepi Ghoulie (The Groovie Ghoulies) plans 7-inch

Kepi Ghoulie, of The Groovie Ghoulies fame, will be releasing a 7" single later this month on Art of the Underground as volume 37 of the AOTU 7" Subscription based Single Series. All singles are limited to 350 copies! In tandem with his release, The Measure [SA] of New Jersey will be released as volume 38.

Some of the Art of the Underground Single Series alumni include The Ergs!, Lemuria, Off With Their Heads, The Only Children (featuring 3/5 of The Anniversary), Mischief Brew, Andrew Jackson Jihad, and Ghost Mice.

"born in the basement" is where i started but i'd recommend either "monster party" since its more or less a best of or "re-animation festival"

It's re-recordings of older songs done with the final lineup. It was actually the first thing I picked up from them and it got me super intrigued, so I probably should've suggested that.

Understandable. Just a word of advice, hold off on getting Appetite for Adrenachrome until you've got most of the others. It's their first LP, even before Roach joined, and it's a little spotty.

Appetite for Adrenachrome has some of their best songs (do the bat, blood beach) but yeah its super spotty. i wish they had gotten around to putting the early 7"s out on cd. the recording on those is super odd. its mostly kepi with a drum machine
