Why can't riverboat gamblers be on the second half of this tour?
mikeinflames (February 20, 2009)
guaranteed the tickets for the show in toronto are going to be $100+ a piece after service charges.
TheOneTrueBill (February 20, 2009)
Interesting that they're not playing in Chicago.
mevsall (February 20, 2009)
take off rise against and billy talent and you've got yourself a halfway decent tour
TheeValiantRA3 (February 20, 2009)
Wow, the forum in inglewood...just thinking about how shitty that place is makes me yearn for a local house of blues.
red_eye_inc (February 20, 2009)
No Chicago
jacknife737 (February 20, 2009)
I may actually go to the Toronto Date. For a larger venue, the Molson Amphitheatre isn't that bad, it's actually pretty nice if the weather is clear.

Time Warner Cable Amphitheatre

Meh. I want another Rancid / NOFX / Real McKenzies tour.
Pricey123 (February 20, 2009)
maybe its just me but isnt the indestructible album overly loud on the cd? it sounds horrible
Cheesetits (February 20, 2009)
Dare I brave Rise Against fans to see this? Probably not. But maybe yeah.
SouthernLovin (February 20, 2009)
God. I wish Riverboat Gamblers were playing the SC date instead of Billy Talent. Fuck Billy Talent.
nick_s (February 20, 2009)
The new Rancid album better not suck, they still owe me a tenner for that piece of shit indestructable...
c_slater (February 20, 2009)
Rise Against is going to realize how back they suck when they can't fill seats at some of these large venues. Rancid knows what's going on, they just want they fu@king money.....and good for them. You call them sell outs, I call them smart.
CCSummers (February 20, 2009)
So does anyone know what Defiance, Ohio songs Theo sings on? It is of utmost importance.
DrewXFishy (February 20, 2009)
stoked as fuck been waitin for this shit
abracadaver (February 20, 2009)
Rise Against's fans are comprised almost entirely of meathead douchebag bros, inane frat boys and 10-year-olds in Bad Religion shirts. Man, did these fuckers ruin otherwise awesome Gaslight and Alk3 sets for me back in November. Needless to say, I left three songs into RA.
The_Ken_Chin_Imposter (February 20, 2009)
Rexall Place AKA the 17 000 person hockey arena where the Edmonton Oilers play. Give me a break...
David5345 (February 20, 2009)
I'll be at one maybe two of the Boston dates. Really hope the ticket prices aren't over the top.
LookingForCorpses (February 20, 2009)
It's funny that this says "co headline" when the band's announcement said, "with special guests Rancid."
manincognito (February 20, 2009)
while i would love to see this tour, yes, that includes billy talent, i made the mistake of seeing the a-f/rise against/billy talent (and moneen....but i had no choice in that) when it was at the acc...never again will i see a show there..i love the smaller venues, where you dont have jackass parents and snot-nosed 13 yr olds telling me to sit down because they can't see the band.... fuck that shit! it's a punk show! i'm allowed to jump about! ......sorry..just working through some unresolved feelings....
StreetwalkinCheetah (February 20, 2009)
i like billy tallent better than billy talent.
Crashtester (February 20, 2009)
This is hardly the quality of the ALK3/ Thrice/ Gaslight Anthem/ Rise Against tour I saw in Vegas. Im gonna have to pass, The Riverboat Gamblers and Canadian train wreck Billy Talent? I know RA loves them for some reason but well......weak.
mickeydalez (February 20, 2009)
it seems like just yesterday i saw rise against in front of litterally 20 people, its amazing how major label influence can make a band suck, congratulations universal, youve made another top act bite the shitter. and you wonder why we download music.
ryannn (February 21, 2009)
Billy Talent Instead of Riverboat Gamblers.. BOOOOOO
consider_the_ravens (February 21, 2009)
im going to this, billy talent rise against and rancid. good bill despite all the lame punx and peta freaks who will be there
thegimper (February 21, 2009)
Living in Oklahoma, it always a dagger to the heart to see when tours have 3+ dates in Texas, but not one in my state.
RossHostage (February 21, 2009)
Wow...if NoFX, The Bosstones, Bouncing Souls, Street Dogs and The Cirlce Jerks (who ended up not playing) couldn't sell out Red Rocks then I seriously doubt that this tour will.
royalt (February 22, 2009)
Mesa suckskskskssssss. God I hate that place.
beardedbassMN (February 24, 2009)
Victory! We get the last date of Riverboat Gamblers! I've found Rancid's choice of support to be very odd. Except a few years ago with Sick Of It All. That was delightful.
skinsfan1818 (February 28, 2009)
ok. nothing against rise against, theyre talented, but rancid fathered that genre and rise against is headlinig? bull shit. rancid has been around since 92, rise against 1999. and besides, rancid is premoting their new album. so tell me why the fuck rancid would be opening for rise against?
benjamminwithyou (March 31, 2009)
So no DC dates? We are a major city with several suitable venues. Gaslight Anthem did the same thing. |
