Jimmy Eat World and Neko Case are among the featured artists for Rock Band 2 next week. The game will feature three tracks from JEW: "Futures," "Lucky Denver Mint" and "Sweetness" and Neko Case's "People Got a Lot of Nerve."

Also added to the game next week are Drive By Truckers, Lucinda Williams, Old 97s and Steve Earle.

it was a fantastic game, maryland was down by life 16 at one point in the second half, and then they want on a huge run in the last couple minutes and sent it into over time, and then vasquez hit a big 3 in overtime to let them take control and win it

I think it got much better, but way less scary. More about action than puzzle solving and loud noises. Shit, I jumped constantly with the originals, the new ones are just waves of enemies.

So my band is recording our CD on a 4-track.

In all seriousness, there is truly a noticeable difference between the stuff we've recorded prior using Garage Band and the sound on a cassette. I don't know shit when it comes to sound and recording, but even I can hear the fullness of he sound. It's pretty cool.

They're called time signatures and there are a lot more of them than just 4/4 and 2/4. The casual listener finds them uncomfortable and off putting because they aren't simple and straightforward. You should really get out more. Fourth, you sure seem to know a lot about Say Anything, seeing as you hate them so much and all. Shakespear used the line "Me Think Thou Doth Protest Too Much" in this kind of situation. and Fifth, nothing using the string of words "really really REALLY" has ever been dubbed "gut wrenchingly poetic" let alone even mildly creative. Your wit is dull. You're embarrassing yourself.

Mississippi is ranked 48th in education (are you going to blame that on black people like your God Amongst Men Maxim "Jamal" Bemis would?), so I'm guessing not so many more award winning artists coming up any time soon. Also, how do you define "award winning?" The People's Choice Awards and whatever Nickelodean hands out don't really count.

I too judge people based on their character. I judge them if they have profound character flaws such as thinking that Say Anything is a good band, or that Max Bemis is the conductor on the Crazy Town Express, or thinking that his forced, terrible rhymes are the result of time signatures and not being artistically bankrupt. Those kind of character flaws. Also being 19 and having a myspace that looks like an AIDS bomb was detonated on it.

You know the best part of this whole thing for you? You're getting The Beemeister to write a song about you and the girlfriend who's either 1) going to dump you because you're 19 and that shit never works out or 2) chain yourself to your high school sweetie which, by the time you're forty and fat and balding and having bratty kids run around you'll be unable to decide whether you want to stick the gun in your mouth or hers. Then you can listen to your crappy acoustic "you make my heart swell/because you're so swell/and your love/came from above" song and cry bitter, angry tears that the $150 you blew could have been spent on a LOT of whiskey. A terrible lyric ("I called her on the phone and she touched herself," for example) is a lot cooler than a high score.

I just want Guitar Rising to hurry up and release for the PC already. You use a real guitar and it shows you how to play real songs, as well as exercises. At least you would REALLY be learning the instrument better and not just learning how to press buttons really fast.
