Toronto, ON's Cancer Bats have recorded a video for their song "Deathsmarch," off their latest release Hail Destroyer. The album was released through Distort Records and Blarkmarket Activities in the US last year.

I haven't heard this song, I don't have sound on my computer at work, but I tried watching one of their other music videos over the weekend and it was sludgy, boring, tough-guy strip club music.

this is the first time i've actually heard these guys. i expected them to be more in the bronx/gallows/every time i die vein but they sound like they should be opening for Korn. what am i missing?

Their first album was in the vein of all the bands you listed. Their newest album is completely different, but not bad.

Really, the production's a bit slicker and Liam's voice is a bit grittier. That's about it. I agree with you and think Hail Destroyer is a bit better than Birthing.

are you using winamp or itunes? also i think they're not on yet/have cancelled. the website doesn't have them listed as in studio or anything anymore and im getting some weird synth music on the stream.

loved birthing the giant, not a big fan of this album.

all of liam's vocals sounded very "generic metalcore scream-y," which kinda put me off.

i think the only song i really liked off the last one was "pray for daylight," which i'm pretty sure was the shortest song as well.

This band is always a party live.
Haven't been listening to them much lately though, new album gets a little stale. Birthing the Giant is a fun rager though.

I love Birthing the Giant. Saw them live once and thought they were pretty terrible. Maybe it was an off night or something, but not very good at all.

I really dig this band, but not this song. In fact its probably my least favorite song they've ever written. I wish they would have made a video for a different song.

This band used to be amazing, living in Ottawa (only 4 hours from Toronto), they play here all the time, the S/T Was the best music they ever put out. They played here with Cursed a few years ago, they tore the place up , last month they played with Polar Bear Club and there were only a handfull of kids for them, Good dudes. But i woudn't pay 45$ or whatever it is there charging for that taste of chaos bullshit.
