Media: Nothington: "If You Say So", "Another Day"

Nothington has posted two tracks from their in-progress recording. The tracks "If You Say So" and "Another Day" can be found at their MySpace page.

Their new album will be the band's second LP; their first was All In, which was released in 2007.

I have to say that "Another Day" starts out a bit weaker than I'd like but it ends in a massively triumphant manner. I've been hearing "If You Say So" live for something like 2 years so it packs a little less of a "new song" punch.

I think they're overhyped... I got All In and One For The Road right when they each came out and dug 'em for a while, then got bored and forgot about them. But lately I've been seeing people cumploding over them everywhere... maybe I need to put All In on repeat for a

These songs seem a step up though. EDIT: On second thought, no they don't. Like any of their stuff, it all seems like it's on the same step... if you catch my drift.

EDIT2: I had more typed, went to Windows Media Player, it went away. Oh well, it was just a list of smaller bands that do this sound better that would have helped everyone understand the above complaints better, had they heard them and realized how much they pwn Nothington.

EDIT3: The other vocalist is better for this band.

Overhyped? I think that was a poor choice of words...! If people are saying good things about them, can't you just take it for what it is, that people like them, they work hard and are good, so whats the problem? That's fine if you like other bands better, but why do you feel the need to make comparisons... Stick with what you like and shut up, and in the meantime, I'll be loving life and rockin out to Nothington.

I liked their previous album and figured their new songs would be good, but I didn't think they would be this good! Its prety ridiculous, I just keep listening to them on repeat.
