A stream has been launched for the Punk Goes Pop 2 compilation. Bands on the disc include Alesana, Attack Attack, August Burns Red, Bayside, Breathe Carolina, The Cab, Chiodos, A Day To Remember, Escape The Fate, Four Year Strong, Mayday Parade, Silverstein, A Static Lullaby and There For Tomorrow.

I liked a couple of the songs on punk goes metal. Link 80's version of "Harvester of Sorrow" is classic. The horn lines are so good, the way they creep up on you.

But this will be 110% suck.

last night at the detroit show i saw a dude with a shirt that said "support your local white boy" with a giant nazi style ss in the middle of it.
other than that doushe it was mostly old hooligans and frat brahs. you're probably not likely to have any problems with anyone unless you go looking for it

I saw them last year and was expecting the worst of the crowd, particularly these two guys that pushed their way to the front where I was. But once the band started, we all just sung along and everything was fine. When they played "Skinhead on the MBTA" we jumped the barricade and got on stage for the finale. We all shook hands and thanked the band for the show. It was very civilized actually. One of the best shows I've been to.

Nah, you'll have a blast. You'll have to put up w/ a few "Irish" douches and possibly a few skinheads that are still holding on to the old times, but they're still fun as hell live. Really, the worst part about their new fan base is having to hear crappy songs like "Shipping up to Boston", "Tessie" instead of good stuff off Do or Die or Sing Loud.

Pop music most of times are just for money, but it's a sincere music genre in the way that the only intention is to make money and it's is written on the artist's forehead: "Buy my record, listen to the chorus, dance and buy my record again". I listened to the whole thing (yeah I did it) and the Bayside cover is the best one hands down. Lyrics fit Bayside well.
