Where are the punk bands.

I liked a couple of the songs on punk goes metal. Link 80's version of "Harvester of Sorrow" is classic. The horn lines are so good, the way they creep up on you.

I'm seeing Dropkick tonight for the first time. I've heard the fans there are typically of the douche variety. Does anyone have any further insight or advice

i was looking at the track listing and noticed that i only know what about 3 or 4 of those songs are. strangely the same goes for the bands covering them

Pop music most of times are just for money, but it's a sincere music genre in the way that the only intention is to make money and it's is written on the artist's forehead: "Buy my record, listen to the chorus, dance and buy my record again". This kind of bands are all made of losers that want make some money kidding with one's chubby girls feelings. Sorry for my bad English.

August Burns Red cover of "Baby One More Time" made me laugh ...... a lot.

LongLiveKeithMorris (March 4, 2009)
You people are a bunch of hypocrites.
kylewagoner (March 4, 2009)
And what in there makes you think it's a punk comp?
pointmetowardthetiger (March 4, 2009)
Punk Goes Pop...? Wouldn't it be more apropos if Harvey Danger covered Chiodos?
CherryColaRain (March 4, 2009)
Well, I like Bayside. Too bad I have no clue who they're covering, so it's not nearly as exciting.

Well, at least this is better than that anime cover shit compilation. I like the SIlverstein cover of "Apologize". |
