Every year they say it's the best, and every other year, it's exactly the same, give or take a NOFX

I almost go all angry at punk rock when I didn't see Bad Religion or NOFX as the top billed artist instead i saw comedy such as Aiden and Alexisonfire... then i realized it's alphabetical order.

Warped Tour used to be the high light of my summer but I feel old because I don't care anymore. I'm just glad I wont be one of those old people that try to follow youth trends, like NOFX. 2+ Replies

Wow....what a surprise....Bad Religion is the only band on here I want to see (for the 12th time.) Bad Religion are my favorite band of all time alongside a couple of others, but its hard to stomach all of the shit on this tour. I think BR should tell Vans to take a hike and go to an actual punk rock festival which is where they belong. I would much rather see Bad Religion play alongside punk rock, hardcore and noise/sludge bands than alongside a bunch of pop-metal and pop-rock bands and (gasp) christian bands. 1+ Reply

Warped tour...yawn. Has anyone been watching Delocated? I just discovered it this week and it's fucking hilarious.
joeg (March 26, 2009)
Bad Religion and the Bouncing Souls....eh, not gonna be worth wading through 10 hours of another abomination of a lineup. 1+ Reply

So warped tour has pretty much become stagnant summer festival....Is someone going to step up and take the place like the warped tour did in the mid 90's....Yea we have the Fest and a few other festivals, but where is the next warped tour so I can say I was at the first season.

nofx and bad religion is gonna be epic especially if Fatty sings 'We're only gonna die' with BR. 1+ Reply
AndrewG (March 26, 2009)
why don't you just kick me in the balls for 7 hours straight. it'd be substantially less painful than this abortion, cheaper too, and i might get to listen to music that i like. so its decided, the warped tour is cancelled this year.
Babrook (March 26, 2009)
I don't know what I'm more excited for: NOFX, Streetlight, and Big D, OR laughing at kids seeing Brokencyde and Millionaires, OR heckling Anti-Flag even though they can't hear me.
DrBino (March 26, 2009)
The only fun part of warped tour these days is punching those scene kids in the mouth when they're fighting invisible ninjas to the 78th predictable breakdown of the day.
LeightonESmith (March 26, 2009)
I can't believe all the elitist fuckwits posting in this thread who are too good to go to something like this. 7+ Replies

This lineup is horrendous. At least last year they had Against Me! and Gaslight on. 2+ Replies
Blackjaw_x (March 26, 2009)
Anti-Flag, Bad Religion, Big D and the Kids Table, Bouncing Souls, Flogging Molly, Less Than Jake... were all decent at one point, The Souls are still good... the rest suck, but who's surprised? Also, lmfao @ Brokencyde. Punx!
mevsall (March 26, 2009)
The lineup always looks decent when you look at these lists, then you see that only one or two of the bands worth seeing are actually on the tour when it comes through your town...unless you live in California or something.
Mickierat (March 26, 2009)
This crappy screamo tour only has like three bands I wanna see. Not even worth it. I'm going to Insubordination Fest this year instead. It's way more worth it than this traveling commercial for top 40 disguised as punk called the Warped tour.
tenwestchaser (March 26, 2009)
So really I only want to see Alexisonfire. Streetlight is an added bonus. And...Ivy League? Are the Mad Caddies going undercover under their original name that they had to change for legal reasons? Probably not, but I can hope...that band never comes around...
drowningadam (March 26, 2009)
I feel real old reading down this list of bands. But hey I get to name drop on a few. I got to play with the bouncing souls, anti flag, partied with nofx, worked for flogging molly for a day, used the ataris amps to record with, and got an email from thrice about my cd that i gave them. oh the memories 1+ Reply
consider_the_ravens (March 26, 2009)
ill go if bad religion thrice and the bouncing souls play in Boston i miss going to warped tour.
BarleyPat (March 26, 2009)
*It should be noted however, that none of the good bands will be playing near you unless you live on the west coast.

Best part about the comcast center in mansfield MA: 14 year old dumbasses crowd surfing over concrete.....so many potential fatalities....
humansolution (March 26, 2009)
the last two years have been shit except for a few bands. when i saw this lineup I thought i would piss myself
RobbieFree (March 26, 2009)
Okay, if you're going to attack an entire country's population, at least construct a decent sentence. "conformism" that's a new one. I think most people on this site have pretty legitimate reasons for criticizing the warped tour, none of which have anything to do with our nationality, but rather the core fact that punk rock is best ingested in small club settings, not the blistering hot parking lot of some verizon wireless owned ampitheatre or some foul smelling fairgrounds a good hour away from the city where you can expect to pay 5 dollars for water and absolutely no re-entry. I understand warped tour introduced/introduces a lot of young people to good bands (hell, from 1999-2001 I was one of them) but when the whole event features sign-ups for the marines and that insufferable cunt who sang that "kissed a girl" song, along with the stupidest most watered down versions of "punk r

fuck it i think i'll go this year, havent been to warped since afi was still on nitro records. yeah i liked afi along time ago. it's just going to be so hot, houston summers are brutal. if it's outside then i sucks cause of heat but if it's inside the sound sucks. damn second guessing it now, maybe i'll just go to the beach or something. 3+ Replies

That's cool.
You know what else is cool? I'm making my stand up comedy debut at a comedy festival at Tufts this weekend. It's for some charity or something.
