Ferret Music signs Revolution Mother

Ferret Records have announced the signing of Revolution Mother. The band is fronted by Pro Skateboarder Mike Vallely and includes past members of Mean Season and Outspoken.

The band's new album was produced by Fred Archambault (Avenged Sevenfold, Valiant Thorr) and is titled Rollin' With Tha Mutha. It is due out July 7, 2009. It is the follow up to Enjoy the Ride.

The only thing I remember about Mike Vallely is that he always frequented cowtown skates back in the early 90's. He always skated to the band 411...who were fucking awesome by the way.

Yurp. We're fucking hit makers. Here's the shit, of it all, we weren't planning to interview them. Mike saw we were doing interviews and came up and was like, "You want to interview the baddest fucking band on this tour?" We were all for it. I know I had seen him before but I couldn't place where (he does have long hair and a beard now). About 30 minutes later we saw them on stage and I went, "Fuck! that's Mike Valley the skater". Totally missed that at the time.

Actually no. They're much more a dirty rock band. No swoops, no keyboards, no make up. Doesn't make it good, but it's not metalcore.
