Dispatches: Bomb The Music Industry and Fake Problems (Day 1)

We've got a slightly...unusual dispatch for you folks. Jeff from Bomb the Music Industry! and Tom Malinowski put together a couple video dispatches from the road during their short four day run with Fake Problems. It's pretty candid, with a lot of expletives, some dancing to Green Day and slurs against Punknews editors. Check it out below.

Fake Problems released It's Great to Be Alive recently and Bomb the Music Industry! just released a b-sides and rarities collection called Others! Others!.

Just a heads up in case we're talking about different stuff, I'm getting the academic version of avid (with the 3rd party software) which is $500. And the computer is $800.

I'm not committed to this plan though, if FCP and an apple computer would be somewhat cheaper.

nice. i've fucked around with avid before for school video projects. i liked playing around with aftereffects a little more because it's more geared towards animation, as opposed to film/video editing. i kinda wish i pursued that aspect a little more. eh well.

Andrew Jackson Jihad rocked the basement this afternoon.

There was a performer, Mike XVX, who played right before the headliners and while AJJ was going through their songs this Mike character got really offended by AJJ's lyrics. He started cussing them out giving them lectures and shit, very Peta-ish preaching I might add. For a second it looked like some battle royale was about to go down.

I noticed in an earlier thread you said AJJ is opening for Fake Problems in Boston. Is this real?

I think so, both bands are playing the Middle East upstairs on July 2nd, but I just saw that Fake Problems' myspace says the show starts at 8, while the mideast website says AJJ plays at around 2. So it could be two different shows.. which would be weird.
