A 3.5 for, in your opinion, the 4th best album of this year until now?
Not saying you can't have your own opinion, but that strikes me was weird. Music from 2009 until now isn't that amazing for you I'd guess, at least not until the new PBC comes out ;)

A 3.5 is great and enjoyable listen, but it's still a pop punk album and far from anything ground breaking. I don't think every album that sounds good and really catchy is a four.

I agree that it's not groundbreaking, but it's just written and executed so well. It really stands out from other poppunk bands.

there really hasnt been many good, full length releases in 2009. the second half of 2009 is going to be a lot better than the first half.

Chasing Hamburg, shooks, and castevet are the only ones getting a four or above. Everything else is pretty darn good.

Yes, that record should have been reviewed a long time ago and is one of the greatest EP's ever put out. It is pretty much flawless no matter what the reviewer says. "The Death of John Smith " is so good and "The longest line " is so good. I hate all of you!

My four favorite tracks from Chris Wollard & the Ship Thieves is the best of the year so far. Also, the Marked Men album is great. Red Light Rumors is fucking fantastic.
