Rock Ridge Music has announced plans to release two albums from multi-genre act, The Cherry Poppin' Daddies. On September 29, 2009, the label will release the studio album Susquehanna and the ska-compilation, Skaboy JFK: The Skankiną Hits of the Cherry Poppiną Daddies. The latter compiles the band's many ska tracks similarly to how Zoot Suit Riot compiled the band's swing material.
Songs from the records can be found on their myspace page. Rock Ridge Music (34 comments)

Susquehanna was good. I used to be way into these guys back when Zoot Suit Riot came out. They were probably one of the bands that helped get me into punk rock. My first concert was them at the Cleveland Ribfest probably around 98.

I liked this band when I was like, 8.

Their singer went to University of Oregon the same time as me and I used to see him walking around campus daily. Just your average guy, I doubt anyone in his classes knew the guy sitting next to them had sold a few million records. 3+ Replies
