Tours: Guttermouth

Guttermouth has announced a handful of shows next month in Florida and South Carolina. The band recently re-signed to their original label, Hopeless Records, and plan to release a new album this year to mark their 20th anniversary as a band.

Same here. I saw them on tour in '94 with The Offspring and Big Drill Car. It was a great show, 250 kids or so. Guttermouth is fun live. Mark can make an enemy like no other (MAYBE Ben Weasel...)

I saw them open up for NOFX a few months ago. They were amazing.

I actually think all their stuff is pretty mediocre except Gorgeous, that album rocks - its like a total outlier. Of course I only listen to it like once a year. Everything after that (although I've only tried to listen to a couple of them) is pretty much beyond "downhill," is terrible.

I'm really anxious to hear their new album... assuming it sounds nothing like Eat Your Face or Shave The Planet, because those were fucking terrible (save 2 songs combined).

You are correct. Fucking love that dude. Such a gamer. He is exactly what you'd want from a guy on your favorite team.

Now for the disappointing part. I'm a huge white sox fan. I have the directv package and watch at least parts of about 120-130 sox games a year, and I watched every out of the previous 3 games against the Rays. But because of my fucking schedule I missed this game. I live to watch Mark pitch, and getting to see a perfect game would've been an unbelievable highlight, but I woke up about 10 minutes after the game ended!

I'm so happy, but at the same time so fucking pissed at how bad my luck is. I'll be watching the highlights for the next 8 hours.

MLB.tv Last year i payed for one month and got a whole year. I think I only paid 90 this year for the whole season. You have access to every broadcast of every game all year.
The tigers are going to kill the central. Best pitching, good defense, and lots of power.
How can you be a whitesox fan when you could be a cubs fan? If the sox don't get quenton back they won't even catch the twins, let alone the tigers

I used to like them back in high-school - Musical Monkey and Teri Yakimoto. I even enjoyed Gorgeous and Covered With Ants (which was a damn good pop punk record).
Then a year or so ago, I went and saw them at a club, for nostalgic reasons, and it was just sad. Remember how your mother always said that people make fun of others because they are insecure with themselves. Never has that statement been more true than it is with Guttermouth. Every single kid who looked younger than them got yelled at by Mark. Opening bands didn't stand a chance against his 'wit'. And the band sounded worse than they used to. Maybe they were just mad because it was a small club and there was hardly anyone there.
