they've resigned themselves to the fact that they are back on hopeless ... get it?!

I'm really anxious to hear their new album... assuming it sounds nothing like Eat Your Face or Shave The Planet, because those were fucking terrible (save 2 songs combined).

I used to love Guttermouth when I was in middle school. They combined all my favorite things in their songs. Peeing in the shower... doneky fucking... homophobia.. those were the days.

Rather than a new album, they should just join Warped Tour and get kicked off again so we can hear Mark re-talk shit about the other bands. That will probably be more entertaining.

record stores accidentally started filing guttermouth under comedy so no one could find their cds. Then after such a long run this error ends up being the thing to kill their career.

looking for guitar riff heavy skate punk type bands.

stuff along the line of Strung Out, Propagandhi, a wilhelm Scream, lagwagon?

tried the swellers but soudned to absolute punk for me.

I for one am stoked.

Shave the planet was a ripper, short and sweet.

Saw them live a few years ago though and that wasnt too good of an effort

Crap band, stupid people.

I used to like them back in high-school - Musical Monkey and Teri Yakimoto. I even enjoyed Gorgeous and Covered With Ants (which was a damn good pop punk record).
Then a year or so ago, I went and saw them at a club, for nostalgic reasons, and it was just sad. Remember how your mother always said that people make fun of others because they are insecure with themselves. Never has that statement been more true than it is with Guttermouth. Every single kid who looked younger than them got yelled at by Mark. Opening bands didn't stand a chance against his 'wit'. And the band sounded worse than they used to. Maybe they were just mad because it was a small club and there was hardly anyone there.
