Fake Problems cancels four more shows

After canceling the rest of their headlining tour due to a death in the family, and then rescheduling part of the tour, Fake Problems has canceled four shows that were set to happen from August 2-6 in Alabama and Florida. The show on August 7 at Transitions Art Gallery in Tampa is still on, as is the band's hometown show at South Street City Oven & Grill in Naples, FL on August 8. Shortly after wrapping up these dates, the band will be headed to Europe for shows through October.

The band released It's Great to Be Alive earlier this year.

Aw that's sad. They were like "no guys, I'm sure we'll be okay to play some shows by early August"... and now it's approaching and they realize they're still too upset.

Their other releases include a split on which they have 2 bad songs and 1 great song (which is weird because it came after their best album), and an earlier full length.

I liked both sides, there wasnt a much of a difference in sound.

And this is may be up for the "me being late to the party album of the year," if it has replay value..

I was afraid you'd do that thing where you listen to a bit of a song and up and decide it's not for you and miss out on a good band. I think the second half has the (slightly) better songs.

I saw Ladytron a few years back and absolutely fell in love with the main singer. I think they're from Germany or Hungary tho--its only the dudes who are English.

That would be darn rad as well, however the life changing experience I'm referring to includes Four Year Strong, Polar Bear Club, Set Your Goals, The Swellers, and Fireworks.

FYS is slowly becoming my favorite band. SYG is great too, but I think FYS does it better. PBC is super fantastic, and I just found out The Swellers aren't playing that show. Much bummed. So many abbreviations.

I enjoy their stuff for what it is. The fact that there's no thematic change from album to album (constantly dealing with the same issue) and that the songs that don't feature the rapping guy all sound the same, keep me from loving them. But they're okay.

The rapping is not great or anything, but I really like some of the riffs. The singer's voice actually kinda bugs me, but I get over it. All their songs do mostly sound the same though, until their last album (which sucked major ass).

the production is pretty good. a little too clean, and it always bothers me when 30 year old men write 14 year old girl lyrics, but they're catchy and yeah. some of the beats they incorporate into their songs are pretty cool.

like that song with the strings loop that mark romanek directed the video for. i love that beat, but could take or leave the rest of the song. especially the singing dude.

not for nothing, but a week after my grandfather died, and 2 days after the funeral, i moved out of my parents house into my new apartment with my mother crying and screaming at me the entire afternoon.

i suppose it's how attached you were to the loved one though. or if it was an untimely death.

of course, i can't play gypsy guitar like fake problems do.
