Videos: Against Me! posts another studio update

Against Me! frontman Tom Gabel has posted another video update from the studio. The frontman of the popular Florida based punk band has been documenting the group's recording process on his blog.

The group is working on the follow up to 2007's New Wave. Earlier this year the band released the collection The Original Cowboy, which compiled demos for their 2003 full length As The Eternal Cowboy. This will be the band's first recording with Hot Water Music's George Rebelo behind the kit.

We all know baldsteve is president of Blake's Bivouac, the Jawbreaker fan club. But did you know he also writes a check out every year to Blake for 10% of his salary, tithing to him like good Christians do to God?

No, I hadn't heard that. Between getting emails from people on here taunting me about it, and the loud coke parties that happen between the two "forgetters" in Blake's apartment, and all my friends in the scene who are talking about it, I don't know how I missed it.

Also, I love under a rock, in Mars, with my fingers in my ears and I shout constantly.

Not a Jawbreaker fan, but Onion Flavored Rings are opening for this new one and they are one of my favorite bands. I am torn.

Well, you'll have to bring that up with them. I use my email for important business, so sometimes I have to wade through spam. So be it.

Don't go to the show--boycott it because of Blake Schwarzen. If anyone asks why or opposes you, refer them to this post.

If I shared your hate for Blake, I'd agree. In my case, it is more of a mild indifference and I love OFR too much. I'll stand up front and yawn through the Forgetters set just for you.

i punched out my windsheild in my jeep 4 times listening to From Her Lips to Gods Ears. with that said....I swear if this new cd sucks half as much nuttbags as New Wave im going to disown Against Me! as my favorite band.... this is their last chance. cuz New Wave sucks nuttbags! i mean thrash unreal is fucking horrible! who wants to rock out to a song about some burnt out floozy in her fuckin 40's??? who the fuck?
