Last year, the benefit concert at The Key Club in Hollywood, CA raised $38,000. Combined Rock To Roll fund raising efforts have raised over $87,000 since the annual event began in 2006. The average wheelchair costs $150 to refurbish, which means Rock to Roll has directly improved the lives of roughly 580 individuals in need. This is the first year the event will take place in San Francisco. Tickets go on sale Saturday, November 7 via Slims.

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but damn! That ModCloth chick is hot!

This was SO amazing last year. One of the best shows I've ever been to.

I still haven't heard Nathen Maxwell's solo stuff. What's it sound like? Is it any good?

They WOULD move it to San Francisco right after I move to Hollywood. I call shenanigans.

Even though I now live in SF, I think they should have kept this an LA thing. The LA crowd got bigger and bigger every year, they were doing well there. Hopefully SF gets a good turnout as well. Last year's was one of the best punk show's I've ever been to. Gaslight had an encore (as the opening band) due to a massive chant request for one. Skiba was drunk and Brian Fallon played Astro Zombie with ALK3. Plus, Kieth Morris played Nervous Breakdown with PRK. Whole night was awesome. |
