I've heard rumblings of Gilman too. It wouldn't be impossible but it'd be odd. First, their lack of ticketing could make the entire area a nightmare of kids waiting outside. Secondly, after their actively "indie only" stance it'd be odd to have a band who is so disliked in parts of the DIY scene (Gilman kids are the closest thing to PIX kids I'd imagine on the West coast).

This is true. However, this was Pinhead Gunpowder and not Green Day. Also, there was a period of time where the venue and those associated with it were violently anti-Green Day. "Billie Joe must die" was painted on the wall for a while. I know that's then and not now, but it's not a trend that has passed entirely in that community.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure Green Day did a secret show at Gilman around the time American Idiot came out. I think a lot of the violently anti-Green Day/ major label stuff died out when Tim Yohannan died.

Also, from what I've heard, this isn't the line up for SF which might be why it wasn't mentioned.

Yes, as is the Troubador (although the Troub is a little bigger).

Small enough. Lucero played there on a Wednesday last year and I don't think it sold out.

But they never seem to play any other shows. The only shows I've ever heard of them playing is opening for NOFX, AgainstMe, etc. Nothing other than that.
