Guns N' Roses, Blink-182, Arcade Fire to headline Reading & Leeds Festival

Blink 182, The Arcade Fire and Guns N Roses have been tapped to headline this year's Reading and Leeds festivals.

Other artists scheduled to perform at the festivals include Frank Turner, Enter Shikari, Paramore, Weezer, Modest Mouse, Gaslight Anthem, NOFX, Biffy Clyro and a reunion by The Libertines.

The Radio 1 stage is where it's at.... Mike Davies usually puts the better part of the lineup together, and I'm pretty fucking sure that's where Refused will come in.

It's not Guns N'Roses anymore. It's called Axl Rose and what other saps he can get to play in the band. Just like Megadeth now is really just Dave Mustaine and band.

Look at the poster.... it looks like Guns And Roses an opening for GNR.

Not just that, but I love how they put Weezer and Cypress Hill on before Paramore and NOFX will have to go on after Gogol Bordello, but before Lost Phrophets, who also seem to play this fest every fucking year. They have become the new "A".

The last two times I've been to Warped they had Against Me! playing before noon, when the ticket said 12:30p start time. Luckily I caught them, but Festivals are fucked up like that.

Lostprophets on main stage sunday 2007 was somehow awesome. Ripped to the tits on 'bow and weird scrumpy but it was awesome neverthless.

Seemed to be the day that Ian Watkins remembered his native accent over his dodgy American effort too.

I think he's just joking/poking fun of the fact that you guys added a "late breaking news" type portion to the story that an anonymous source had confirmed something, while, the band themselves were denying it through other outlets.

In the early 90's i saw these bands at Read(before they added the Leeds bit).Nirvana,Sonic Youth,Iggy Pop, Mega City Four, PIL, Buffalo Tom, Public Enemy, Rollins Band, Smashing Pumpkins, Melvins, Beastie Boys, Mudhoney, Pavement, Leatherface, Helmet,Jesus Lizard, Superchunk, Afghan Whigs, Ice Cube, Cypress Hill, Therepy?, Frank Black, Dinosaur Jr, Senseless things, Archers of Loaf, Wedding Presant.......theres more i can't think of right now.....AND yes, i do want my fucking medal.

Same here, just it was relevant to Reading/Leeds....nothing more.I was young back then and drunk.....I agree outdoor festivals are rather shite but im glad i have the memories(vague ones).
