The Aquabats detail “Hi-Five Soup”

The Aquabats have revealed the details about their upcoming full length. The record is titled Hi-Five Soup and is due out January 18, 2011 via Fearless. It is the follow-up to Charge!! which was released in 2005.

Not so much a return to ska, but a whole new synthpop-drenched approach. Awesome to see that the Aquabats can manage to integrate the old into the new instead of just forcing half-hearted hornlines into random songs like so many other former ska-punk bands.
