H2O (northeastern US)

Legendart DC hardcore band Bad Brains are playing a handful of dates in the northeastern US this April. Opening for the band on two dates, will be H2O and Wu-Tang Clan member GZA. Brooklyn Vegan also reports that an additional show is TBA, set for 4/20 with GZA opening.

There's an as-of-yet unannounced (until tomorrow [2/16]) live date for 4/20. I have a feeling it will be DC, or the DC area, at least. The 4/19 show is in Philadelphia, so DC would make sense. Or Baltimore. 930 club already has a show on 4/20, so I'm thinking maybe that new club the Fillmore, in Silver Spring...?

I saw the Bad Brains @ Irving Plaza in 2003 and wasn't expecting much but they were actually reallllly good. I've heard horror stories about HR just standing there mumbling or singing while sitting/laying down but he was on point that night.

I saw them as Soul Brains years ago. While an incredible show, it was also completely insane. HR walked out on stage and started yelling at one of my friends, then later for no reason stopped in the middle of a song and had my friend thrown out (during his favorite song no less.) One of the weirdest shows I've ever witnessed

Wow, look at the incredible stage show all the people going to the shows have to look forward to. I'd say it's a toss up for phoning it in between them and The Pixies.
