All-American Rejects posts video for Petfinder.com

All-American Rejects have posted a video in their ongoing partnership with national pet adoption agency Petfinder.com. Guitarist Nick Wheeler adopted his dog Dexter using the site and is encouraging people to join and adopt a dog themselves. Nick put together a short video called "Dex's Day Off" about his experience.

Props. Though I think confronting and shaming people who buy dogs from breeders is the more productive approach. If the only socially acceptable option is adoption, then people will do it more.

Or you can just make your own, lol jk!, you know not really make them but let your dogs do it, lol! We have rottys and they have had like a million puppies but we sell them on the cheap and dont try to make lots of money. Its all about the dogs and the fun they bring!

Every puppy you bring into existence means one more dead dog in the shelters. There aren't enough homes in the world to take care of the dogs that already need to be taken care of and when you allow your dogs to breed you are part of the problem, not the solution. Fix your fucking dogs.

Well I would fix them, but we like puppies + I didnt really mean it when I said a million, she hasnt had a million, lol! Maybe 50 or a hundred? But we took good care and they all had good homes, so its whatever. The only problem is when they eat our cats :( Rottys seem to like to bite cats or something i dunno maybe its just ours?

We used to have a pit, I wish we had kept a couple of her puppies, she was a great dog. Pits are so misunderstood.

I could care less about the band, but I love this. We are allowing millions of animals to get locked in shelters and ultimately euthanized every single year needlessly. There is NO reason for the killing to go on. Boycott breeding, adopt. When you adopt an animal from a shelter you are SAVING a life. When you buy from a breeder, you are giving a death sentence.

Who gives a fuck? I'm a little more concerned about the millions of animals that die in shelters every year than I am preserving certain breeds of dog for us to gawk at.
