Media: Dropkick Murphys: ‘Signed and Sealed in Blood’

Dropkick Murphys have enlisted fellow Irish-American Conan O'Brien to stream their new album, Signed and Sealed in Blood. It's due out January 8, 2013.

Agreed with above, esp. with Casey singing along or over Al Barr. I liked "Out on the Town" if I had to choose a standout track.

i made that comment about halfway thrugh the recording, and if by some sort of magic, the second half of the album was better. Casey's got some gems, and im not saying he shouldnt sing a track or two on the albums, but i'm sick of only hearing Al Barr when they do a cover song, or a fast song. It's probably a great job, but i'd leave and go do my own thing. McColgan did and Street Dogs kick ass.

Is Rick Barton free? I think he did some writing on the Gang's All Here and I absolutely love the records. Maybe him and Al should get together and do something.

I may be finally giving up on DKM. The less Al Barr sings, the less interest I have. Ken's vocals just bore me to tears.

I think Al is more prominent here than on the last record. Even if Ken sings alongside him sometimes his vocals are just so damn overpowering that it still sounds like an Al-lead song.

Ken's a great guy and all, the heart of the band really...but he was always best just singing a few lines.
