Image Behind the scenes at, we're always discussing ways we can improve the site for our readers and make our content more useful. With that said, we're excited to announce a slight change in format today as it concerns our reviews: Going forward, we will be posting two new reviews every weekday: One between 10 a.m. and noon EST, and another between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. EST. This change will put more emphasis on individual reviews, and ensure that every review -- from hotly anticipated records by popular bands to debuts from obscure artists -- receives a more equal treatment. Our traffic stats as well as your comments tells us that with little deviation, the top 2-3 reviews in our previous weekly updates were getting the most attention and interaction. This will hopefully fix that and spread the love a little more.

Now that that's out of the way, our first review this week is John Gentile's dissection of "Living in a Dangerous Land," the new collaboration between former Operation Ivy bandmates Tim Armstrong and Jesse Michaels. Check it out here. You can read any of our reviews at our reviews page.
