Maow was a three piece from Vancouver's east side that featured guitarist / vocalist Tobey Black, bassist / vocalist C.C. Hammond and drummer / vocalist Neko Case. The band released their pop-punk debut The Unforgiving Sounds of Maow in 1996 and was considered part of local the twee pop scene lead by Cub.
