DescendentsEverything Sucks (1996)Epitaph Records Reviewer Rating: User Rating: Contributed by: Jocky Fa (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on April 9th 2001 This album was too long in coming, and it's been too long since. Milo out-did himself here, and Vancouver is proud. The bar has been raised, and in five years ALL hasn't responded. Perhaps the boys put everything they had into this one. The Descendents always have cranked out impressive albums, worth more than the adoration of the local College radio station listeners - but with Everything Sucks, Karl, Steve, Bill and Milo have shown that the old skool is still the only skool. Great compared to most crap out there. But just good compared with the Descendents' other albums. Easily the worst review I've ever seen but I don't give a fuck because this album ruled my world for 2-3 months. every song is soo good on this, i love the outroo song too. Everything sucks today!! Amazing album. This album got me into good punk rock. eunuch boy hehe wow i bet this review tooka long time to write one of the best pop-punk records ever! songs about life that you feel all day "i cant even describe it. its just annoying and unlistenable." This place sucks! as Milo would say.. i dig this album, cus i played im the one for my girlfriend so she woul;d get back with me. Thanks milo This album roxxs!! Anything by the descendents or all is amazing!!!! this has to be one of the worst albums i have ever bought. this is the only album i ever took back because i couldnt stand it. i cant even describe it. its just annoying and unlistenable. this cd openened my eyes, changed my life, and made my underwear dirty. It rips from beginning to end, Milo is a God. Try listening to "Milo Goes to College". It blows this album away, as well as any other by the Decendents. In short, I really thought Everything Sucks, sucked. |

This cd isn't total commercial posturing crap. But it is a good amount that. Eough so to trade it back to the $1 bargain bin at the store. Avoid anything thise band did after "All" and you will get the descendents the way they were meant to be before they decided to milk the green day/offspring/rancid commercial mainstream radio friendly cash cow. Even though this is on epitaph and produced by some familiar quality producers with original band members, the songwriting and evertyhing else "sucks". Weak by milo's and any good punk band alive circa '81 standards. I know they will never put out another milo goes to college for biochemistry... But they could have at least made an effort to keep some integrity. Why come back to make shit like this. Evertyhing after this kiddies got even worse indeed.
