| Plea For Peace / Take Action Tour 2002live in Seattle2002 live show Review by: pwfanatic See others by this writer Only registered users can post comments Published on October 11th 2002
I had high hopes going into this show, immensly high hopes, but unfortuantely for me and the rest of the Seattle crowd, T(I)NC was forced to cancel due to the injury of their drummer, and it definitely showed during the concert.
I was really surprised by the turnout for the show, or put better, the lack of turnout. When I arrived at the Showbox for Reel Big Fish a couple of weeks ago, the line to get in stretched clear around the block. For this show, the line barely went halfway down the block. So, minus one band, I still went in expecting to see a great show, and for the most part, I was rewarded. Please login or register to post comments. i can't comment since i didn't go to this one or the one in my town, philly, but i heard thursday was good when they played here. i just wanted to agree w/the guy down there...how many more damn plea for peace reviews are there gonna be? and when will this tour end? tpr broke up and its still going on. it doesnt even seem worthwhile. stupid garbage. ah fuck it im taking a nap. this whole plea for peace cause really confuses me in the punk setting it is in. What their trying to do is getting all these punks signatures to not only make government in control of more aspects of society but it could also raise taxes and create more government. Kind of seems the antithesis of what punk is somewhat about. Ended at 11:30 in SF. But it's gonna be different for each show. to anyone thats gone to the tour, what time does it end? i would like to say that i saw the third to the last show the promise ring ever did and it sucked. good riddance. yeah I bet there was a lot of emo kids there because TPR's last two cds are SOOO emo. Thanks for telling us what bands played. Did you even go to the show or did you just make that up. I'm really suprised that PTW headlined over the Promise Ring. PTW is popular but not *that* popular. true dat. horrible review. stop talking about the setup and sound checks and talk about the band's peformances more. did they say anything interesting? how long did each band play? when i read a review, i want to feel like i'm there. details people, its all about the details. i give this review a 5 for effort. hmmmm....where the fuck are the actual reviews of the bands? i dont care about the DJ or the soundchecks. |
