First off, let me say I've been waiting for this show for a long time and it was very worth the wait. We arrived at the Showbox in Seattle to find out the show was very sold out. There was a large crowd standing outside apparently trying to get in. We made our way through the crowd and settled near the front. Please login or register to post comments. wow, sfbarker is a piece of shit. you're all a bunch of asshats. the most important band in music right now is roy. see? they're at the top of the reviews list so they must be #1. The Mars Volta are far from the most important bands in music. Maybe in becoming recycler of the past and turning kids on to music they were too young to experience, but in the end, they're not too original or too impressive. nice job on the review, i can tell that you reall like the band. it would be great see the mars volta play live, but i guess i'll have to wait. I think BSD is succeeding in being an asshole and pissing people off. why is it when a reviewer makes a mistake it has to be called out at least 3 times? Get over it. He never said they were the most important band in the 'scene.' He said they were one of the most important bands in music. Thanks. I think BSD is a fucking idiot Well, its just that, chances are, if you are a big enough fan of TGUK to make it your reviewer name, then I don't think you know what the hell "scene" you're talking about. they did play the entire album from start to finsih! and who cares what my reviewer name is... "i don't think the mars volta could play any song off de-loused... in any order than what it is on the album... seeing as it is a concept album. whatever." Roulette Dares(The Haunt of) is track 3 on De-loused in the Comatorium. The reviewer even said they played De-loused from beginning to end so i don't see where Tremulent would come in anywhere? Oh well, all i can do is pray that they come to Orlando one of these days. No, Roulette Dares is off De-Loused. :P hmm... please spellcheck your reviews before posting them... thanks. roulette dares isnt off tremulant. i dunno what the album version sounds like, but the version that GSL had posted is pretty fucking good roulette dares is off of tremulant. plus deloused is way better anyways. it was awesome how the played the new album from beginning to end. the show in seattle was fun. mars volta ripped shit up. the highlight of the night was aul williams. he was great. Damn it I missed this show in Chicago! no songs off of tremulant = lame |
