| Motion City Soundtrack / Tsunami Bomblive in Long Island2004 live show Review by: Brian See others by this writer Motion City Soundtrack (link) Only registered users can post comments Published on December 14th 2004
With Maxeen recently hopping from the tour's billing to start preparations on their next full-length, the crowd at Motion City Soundtrack's latest headlining tour was forced to suffer a small wave of relative crap opening. Driveby was terrible rock-tinged pop-punk who I'd seen only months prior, and the band apparently still can't finish a song. Each cut from their set just seemed to "end" with no regard for sensible structure, and it was the same here. Yet another with the ethos of "we're a shitty local act, embrace us!," the band tormented for us for twenty minutes before departing from the stage.

the academy is... = awesome, limbeck= neat as fuck, tsunami bomb= shit, and motion city soundtrack= best band ever. period. Did anyone ever notice that the NOFX song "Quart in Session" and "Franco-Unamerican" sound EXACTLY THE SAME! even with the stupid lil breakdown at the end. both are just worthless, worthless bands. motion city soundtrack = terrible. fucking awful. Does anyone what to do if your finger is stuck in your butt and it won't come out? Help me! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh, I need attention from people on a bulletin board, please hear me! "The post two down from here is somewhat funnier if you replace "TB" with "tuberculosis"." The post two down from here is somewhat funnier if you replace "TB" with "tuberculosis". Cut that shit out you bastard. This is strictly for TB. why do all of you even bother saying how much TB sucks if you dont like them then thats fine but you dont have to say other people are stupid because they do jesus. Anyway TB was great live, energertic and extremeley nice in person. Limbeck was ok, really catchy thought they didnt fit in the mold. And in my opinion MCS and the academy is were pretty bad. I wish Pavement was as talented as The Ramones. My rantings are pointless. I'm so novel, I entertain myself (but no one else gets me). Please God, crush all the other puny humans and make me the next deity. I wax my butt hair with my dad's duct tape. I'm important, my folks say so, I believe them. I AM POPULAR, I AM SMART, I AM SO COOL, I AM DEVINE. To the guy who's friend started to cry- Fuck your friend. It's fucking faggots like that that ruin music. "Once again, sandwiches are for band breakups. Nothing else. Especially not reviews" "And you're an illiterate moron." And you're an illiterate moron. " my friend started to cry when lmbeck covered a mcs song" tsunami bomb and motion city defintaley did play awsome. limbeck sucks the big one. i was def one of the people yelling NOOOO when mcs covered the limbeck song. and my friend started to cry when lmbeck covered a mcs song, limbeck ruined that song for him. and the acadamy is's lead singer is definalty trying too hard to be adam larazza. we dont need 2 reviews of essentially the same show if his pronunciation ruins a song for you, stop listening to music why cant that kid figure out the sandwich rule? Why... on the split with Matchbook whatever... does he pronounce "blanco"... "blank-o". Gah!! Spanish always pronounces "a" as in "water". Blanco! Dammit. It damn near ruins a good song. I can't wait until they post my absolute trashing of Eighteen Visions. In the "Related Links" section, I posted a URL that leads to the pic of a sandwich.
