As MTV and the corporate nature of major labels have been subjugating underground genres with cookie-cutter bands that appeal to the masses, it is refreshing to see bands who play a style that both heralds to classic bands and envelops ingenuity and technical skill. Olympia, WA's the Kidcrash successfully manage to do both on 2004's New Ruins.

Sounds like new-school pop-punk. Sorry, but not for me. Wait, I'm not sorry. Go download the new Propagandhi mp3. Byacka!!! "Hm... Are the beats sassy?" well if you say is good i have to test it to say that is good for my record so, here we go, download time... One of the better release in the Lujo Catalog. "The beats throughout the album are mathy" nice. i like this album. i didn't know anyone else knew these guys. it's a shame, they're better than 90% of 'emo' or whatever you wanna call it. I have this in my "shit I 've never listened to and it's time to haul down to Record Exchange" box. This review just convinced me to take it out. This sounds pretty good. |
