With a band name like the Cooters and an album title like Punk Metal, it's hard to really say whether or not this band wants us to take them seriously.

I hope they change their name to "The Autopilot Off's" oxford, in addition to being a great english university, is also the name of the town where ole miss(grisham's alma mater) is located. a pretty witty lyric. Well yeah... What kind of a dumbass name is "The Cooters" anyway? "The Cootees were good. I wonder why they stopped playing." however, this band isnt very..... good. its good to see some profane existence stuff being reviewed on this supposedly punk news site. Haha! I thought of the Cootees AND Cooter when I saw this. The Cootees were good. I wonder why they stopped playing. i got excited when i saw the band name at the margin, thinking it was a review of The Cootees... but alas, its not The Cootees. oh well. Punk metal is cool. I don't know... Too many bands seem to know how to do the metal right, but when they try for punk, they do mid-paced, Oi-style garbage (I don't know about this band, though). | Features
