Static Radio NJOne for the Good Guys (2007)Black Numbers Reviewer Rating: User Rating: Contributed by: Brian (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on August 7th 2007
Static Radio has garnered all sorts of incestuous comparisons ("PAINT IT BLACK meets KID DYNAMITE"; "...in the vein of Paint It Black or Kid Dynamite"; may as well say "your brother fucking your dad"), but when you live in New Jersey in the latter half of the 2000s and play melodic hardcore, maybe it's sort of unavoidable. Those worshipping at the altar of Yemin may rejoice once again.

great band Good EP, and really nice guys. They were incredibly down to earth when I saw them open for the Souls. good EP, hopefully the LP will be in the same fashion good review. i saw and met this band, theyre nice guys and bought pizza with me. This band was good performance wise live but to me didn't sound that KD or PiB they sounded more mid-90's fat melodic punk with a nu-hardcore bend. Maybe a bit KD-like I guess or maybe I was just a bit drunk. dudes seemed legit live. Good band/EP, can't wait for a full length. | Features
